Sia is bringing her signature sound to the stage this fall with Saturday Church, the much-anticipated new musical making its world premiere at New York Theatre Workshop. Featuring original music and lyrics by the Grammy-nominated artist, the production is set to be a major highlight of NYTW’s 2025–2026 season.

Directed by Tony Award nominee Whitney White (Jaja’s African Hair Braiding), Saturday Church follows Ulysses, a young boy in New York City caught between the expectations of his religious family and the freedom he finds in the city’s LGBTQ+ ballroom scene. After a chance encounter on the subway, Ulysses discovers Saturday Church—a vibrant haven for queer youth. As he navigates questions of identity, faith, and belonging, the musical asks, “Is faith only for the Holy?” and, more urgently, “Are there any queens in the house?!!!!”
