PlayTime celebrated Filipino music and culture at the 38th Awit Awards powered by Vibe, reinforcing its commitment to elevating local talent while extending support to communities hit hard by recent typhoons. The ceremony, held November 16, 2025, at the Meralco Theater, blended celebration with a call for solidarity as the country continues recovery efforts.

Organized by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), the event featured high-energy performances from Ben&Ben, Lola Amour, Over October, BINI, and Dionela. Established names and emerging artists shared the stage in a program designed to showcase the vibrancy and resilience of Original Pilipino Music.

The industry’s top honors went to some of the year’s most acclaimed records:
Album of the Year: The Traveller Across Dimensions by Ben&Ben
Song of the Year: “Misteryoso” by Cup of Joe
Record of the Year: “Namimiss Ko Na” by Lola Amour

Pop groups dominated several key categories. BINI won People’s Voice Favorite Group Artist, People’s Voice Favorite Album for Talaarawan, and Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Salamin, Salamin.” Their fandom, BLOOMS, claimed the Vibe Stan Award. SB19 earned Best Global Collaboration Recording for “Moonlight,” Best Rap/Hip-Hop Recording and Best Music Video for “Kalakal,” and People’s Voice Breakthrough Artist for Stell. Beyond the awards and the star-studded night, focus turned toward communities heavily affected by the recent typhoons that struck the country. The program highlighted the urgent need for relief, recovery, and long-term support as families continue to rebuild.

PlayTime, an online entertainment platform licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) announced a PHP1 million donation to Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc. (AKFI), strengthening ongoing initiatives under the “Tulong Mga Kapatid” banner. The program mobilizes private and nonprofit partners to deliver disaster response, livelihood support, and long-term community assistance.

The pledge reinforces the work of PlayTime CARES, the company’s corporate social responsibility arm, which collaborates with AKFI on relief operations, rehabilitation efforts, and programs aimed at empowering vulnerable communities.
