OPM rap legend Gloc-9 teams up with rapper Abaddon in Bonethugs, a powerful new single under Universal Records Philippines. Written by Gloc-9 (Aristotle Pollisco) and Abaddon (Venzon Malubay), the track is an emotional ride through love, miscommunication, and the hope of mending a broken bond.
The song opens with a line that sets the mood instantly:
“Patawarin mo na ako, buksan mo na ang pintuan” — “Please forgive me, open the door.”

Abaddon takes the lead on the chorus, begging for a chance to be heard:
“Bakit hindi mo muna ako pakinggan?”
“Why won’t you listen to me first?”
He pleads for patience instead of punishment:
“Hindi yung agad-agad mo ‘kong pahihirapan” —
“Don’t just hurt me right away.”
It’s a vulnerable ask for communication over confrontation:
“Sabi nila ‘pag may problema, dapat ay pinag-uusapan” —
“They say when there’s a problem, it should be talked about.”
In his verse, Abaddon opens up about past mistakes and self-doubt:
“Laging mali, laging lasing, laging pa-easy easy lang at walang dating sa’yo” —
“Always wrong, always drunk, always too chill, and never enough for you.”
He admits to falling short, but still hopes for acceptance:
“Salamat at nagawa mo akong tanggapin” — “Thank you for accepting me.”
Gloc-9 steps in with his signature intensity, speaking directly to a partner who’s emotionally distant:
“Huwag mo naman akong kausapin nang ganyan, please lang” —
“Please don’t talk to me like that.”
He reminds her of the sacrifices he’s made:
“Lahat ng mga pasalubong at regalo ko, ito’y para sa’yo, nangutang pa ako” —
“All the gifts I brought home were for you—I even went into debt for them.”
But even with all the pain, he stays loyal:
“Ako’y kakampi mo, pinapangako ko” — “I’m on your side, I promise.”
He ends with a playful flex:
“Alam mo na sa’yo ako lang ang the best, kahit itanong kay Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish and Flesh” —
“You know I’m the best for you—just ask Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish and Flesh.”
The outro echoes the desire to patch things up:
“Baka kasi galit ka lang ngayon… Sige ibalik natin na one more time” —
“Maybe you’re just angry right now… Let’s try again, one more time.”
Bonethugs is raw, relatable, and deeply honest—showing two men unafraid to own their flaws and fight for love.
