Manny Jacinto just made his first-ever work visit to the Philippines — and was met with an outpouring of love from fans. The Filipino-Canadian actor, who plays Eric Reyes in Disney’s Freakier Friday, joined the celebration of the film’s Philippine premiere, where he was warmly welcomed by an excited crowd.

Held at SM Mall of Asia, the public fan event brought together hundreds of supporters eager to see Jacinto in person before the screening. “The Philippines has always held a special place in my heart, so I’m thrilled to be able to come home and share ‘Freakier Friday’ with my fellow Filipinos,” he said.

The Philippine premiere was presented by Globe Telecom, in partnership with SM Mall of Asia and SM Cinema.

Now showing in cinemas nationwide, Freakier Friday is the long-awaited sequel to Disney’s beloved classic. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman, who once again find themselves caught in a magical body swap—this time with even more at stake. Anna, now a mom, is trying to blend her family with a soon-to-be stepdaughter when chaos strikes again.

Directed by Nisha Ganatra and based on the book Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers, the film also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Vanessa Bayer, and Mark Harmon. It is produced by Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis, with Nathan Kelly, Ann Marie Sanderlin, and Lindsay Lohan serving as executive producers.
