Sony Pictures Entertainment and Crunchyroll have released the first official trailer for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle, the first film in a three-part finale to the popular anime franchise.
The movie continues the story from the fourth season of the anime series and picks up after the “Hashira Training” arc. Tanjiro Kamado and his Demon Slayer Corps comrades are pulled into the Infinity Castle, the demons’ stronghold, following a surprise attack by Muzan Kibutsuji. The film will cover the “Infinity Castle” arc from Koyoharu Gotoge’s original manga.

A voice in the trailer sets the tone: “The final battle. These words echo in my mind. This battle may finally reach its conclusion tonight.” The trailer shows intense battles and emotional moments, hinting at the high-stakes conclusion to come.
Directed by Haruo Sotozaki and produced by Ufotable, Infinity Castle is the fourth film in the Demon Slayer franchise. The previous movie, Mugen Train (2020), earned \$507 million worldwide and remains the highest-grossing anime film and Japanese film of all time.
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will release Infinity Castle in North American theaters, including IMAX and premium formats, on September 12. They hold global rights to the film, excluding select Asian territories, including Japan.
The trailer also features the film’s theme songs: “A World Where the Sun Never Rises” by Aimer and “Shine in the Cruel Night” by LiSA, both set for release on streaming platforms on July 18.
The Demon Slayer anime, based on Gotoge’s manga, has become a global hit since its 2018 debut, with over 150 million manga copies sold. The franchise is credited with helping boost anime’s popularity around the world.
