Marvel Television is giving fans a first look at Ironheart with the release of a teaser trailer and poster. The highly anticipated series will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on June 24, 2025. It stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a young, brilliant inventor whose iron suits rival those of the MCU’s most iconic heroes. Riri first appeared in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), directed by Ryan Coogler.

“Ironheart is such a fantastic character in the comics,” Coogler said. “Created by Brian Michael Bendis in 2016, she was designed as a successor to Iron Man. In the comics, Riri and Tony Stark share a mentor-student relationship—she’s an MIT student from a completely different background, but they bond over their shared drive to improve the world. Over time, Riri steps into her own as Ironheart, and writers like Eve Ewing have expanded her story, taking her to Chicago.”
Set after the events of Wakanda Forever, Ironheart follows Riri as she returns to Chicago, ready to leave her mark on the world. Her groundbreaking approach to building iron suits attracts attention, but her ambitions also lead her to cross paths with the enigmatic and charismatic Parker Robbins, aka “The Hood” (Anthony Ramos). The cast also includes Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White.
Chinaka Hodge serves as head writer, with Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes directing the episodes. Executive producers include Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Chinaka Hodge, Ryan Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler. The music is composed by Dara Taylor. Produced in collaboration with Proximity Media, Ironheart will debut on Disney+ on June 24, 2025.
