In celebration of its 10th year, the beloved Filipino musical, Mula Sa Buwan is slated to have another rerun this coming year.

The original show created by Pat Valera (book & lyrics) and William Elvin Manzano (music & lyrics) based on Cyrano de Bergerac has evolved to become a piece that has broken many hearts, yet a source of hope and inspiration for many.

Mula Sa Buwan will celebrate a decade of LOVE and DEFIANCE this year 2020 with events, specials, and other surprises for all the supporters and lovers of the musical. In its official Facebook page, video clips from all the productions from 2010 – 2018 have already been posted.

One Night Stand also posted the musical numbers from its October 2019 Cabaret show featuring songs performed by Mula Sa Buwan’s past cast members.

Vic Robinson (Ang Huling El Bimbo / Himala: Isang Musikal) confesses to being a fan of Mula Sa Buwan because of the show’s romantic music, and the magic it brings to audiences. He recently did a short cover of “Ikaw” one of the show’s most popular tunes in a PalabasTayo Wishlist episode. In the show, it is sung by Cyrano, the show’s protagonist, as he expresses his love for Roxane.

This early, the Mula Sa Buwan team is already preparing for the 2021 rerun although circumstances are indeed more challenging. Meticulous planning and hard work, including auditions and re-casting are up ahead. We too are excited to bring updates so keep coming for more details.

“Kita-kita sa buwan!”
