Prime Video has announced the global premiere of Host, a new Thai Amazon Original film, set to debut on October 23. Directed by Pokpong-Pairach Khumwan (Girl from Nowhere, Siam Square), Host marks the first cinematic adaptation of Thailand’s legendary “Mae Sue” — a guardian spirit believed to protect newborns — reimagined as a supernatural horror story.
The film stars Baipor-Thitiya Jirapornsilp (Love Stuck, You & Me & Me, Not Friends), Perth-Veerinsara Tungkitsuvanich (Attack 13), and Jump-Pisitpol Ekaphongpisit (The Cliche, Not Friends), and will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
