Do you have what it takes to become a rock icon? Tanghalang Una Obra, in cooperation with GSIS, is holding auditions for the lead role in Jeproks: The Musical, a stage production celebrating the life and music of Filipino rock legend Mike Hanopol.
They are looking for a male performer, 25 to 35 years old, with a tenor voice that can handle rock vocals—versatile, gritty, and full of emotion. Playing the guitar is a plus, but not required.
To audition, record a one-minute video of yourself singing any Mike Hanopol song. You must be standing while performing, especially if you’re playing the guitar. Guitar playing is encouraged but optional. Submit your video via Messenger to the official Jeproks: The Musical Facebook page.

Performance dates are set for November 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, and 30, 2025.
Directed by Frannie Zamora and produced with the support of Johnny Blue, Jeproks: The Musical will feature 13 to 15 of Hanopol’s classic songs, arranged with a fresh and modern twist. Zamora said the goal is to reintroduce Hanopol’s music to a younger generation who may know the songs but not the artist behind them.
This musical will be a tribute and a platform to connect generations through the timeless power of Pinoy rock.
