GMG Productions has announced that its Manila staging of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen will include a sign language-interpreted performance on October 2 at The Theatre at Solaire.
The special performance is being held in collaboration with the Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Deaf consultants and interpreters from the Benilde Center for Education Advancement of the Deaf (CEAD) and the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies – Interpreting Education Program (SDEAS-IEP). Benilde’s FSL interpreters will perform live during the show, providing Deaf audience members access to the production’s storytelling, music, and emotional impact.

To support accessibility, a dedicated section in the orchestra level has been reserved for Deaf patrons and their companions. These seats offer clear sightlines to the interpreters and can be purchased using the promo code ACCESSSEATS, which provides a 20% discount. Additionally, the standard Persons with Disabilities (PWD) discount is available at TicketWorld outlets for Deaf or Hard-of-hearing patrons with a valid PWD card.
