Jacob Collier has released his first new single of 2025, a stripped-back take on The Beach Boys’ “Keep An Eye On Summer.” Out now via Hajanga/Interscope/Decca, the track is a quiet, emotional rendition of the deep cut that highlights the kind of choral textures Collier has long drawn from Brian Wilson’s influence.
Recorded at home on his five-string Taylor guitar, the track leans into sparse, undulating harmonies and a soft, reflective mood. It echoes Collier’s acoustic ballads like “The Sun Is In Your Eyes,” pulling away from the high-energy, hyper-layered chaos of Djesse Vol. 4 and signaling a new sonic phase.

“Keep An Eye On Summer” drops in the middle of a blockbuster year. Collier is deep into a six-continent Djesse World Tour. He’s landed his second GRAMMY® nod for Album of the Year, honored Quincy Jones on the GRAMMY® stage, and sold out London’s O2 Arena. He’s teamed up with Bon Iver, collaborated with 9,000 school kids and the Jerusalem Youth Chorus, conducted a fully improvised orchestral piece, performed atop an Arctic iceberg with AURORA and Greenpeace—and led hundreds of thousands of concert attendees in his communal and liberating audience choirs.
Last week, he turned Tarrytown, NY into his creative headquarters. The first-ever Hideaway Retreat brought 300 musicians and fans into four days of deep musical exploration. With guests like David Longstreth, Dodie, Chris Thile, Emily Lazar, Andy Powers, Suzie Collier, and his formative teachers, he dug into everything from harmony and rhythm to ancient grooves and nonexistent keys.
Seven GRAMMY® wins, two Album of the Year nods, and collabs with everyone from Joni Mitchell to Hans Zimmer—Collier keeps stretching the boundaries. He stacks harmonies, breaks DAWs, and unites crowds in song.
As Billboard said, Djesse has felt “like attending the most expansive, open-minded music festival you’ve never heard of.” “Keep An Eye On Summer” is the start of what’s next.
His tour continues across South America, India, China, Australia and the U.S. Dates at jacobcollier.com/tour.
