Poppert Bernadas is stepping into the spotlight on his own with SoloPOP, a concert that solidifies and confirms his solo career. After nearly 20 years with the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, Bernadas is embracing a new chapter, bringing his powerful voice and heartfelt storytelling center stage on July 12, 2025, at 8 PM at the Music Museum.
Leaving RCS was a difficult and prolonged decision. For Poppert, it was emotional and deeply personal. “Being part of the Ryan Cayabyab Singers has been one of the greatest blessings of my life,” he shared. “I grew so much under the care and brilliance of Mister C and alongside my RCS family. It’s not easy to let go of something that shaped me, but I feel it in my heart—it’s time. With humility and gratitude, I’m ready to step forward and share my voice as a solo artist.”
He credits his years with the group—and the influence of National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab—for shaping his artistry. Known for his vocal strength and emotional depth, Poppert is often praised for his ability to sing with soul and tell stories through his music.
He first caught national attention as one of the standout contestants on The Voice Philippines Season 2 under coach Sarah Geronimo. On stage, he has delivered acclaimed performances in Rak of Aegis, Lorenzo, Magsimula Ka, Godspell, and One More Chance: The Musical featuring the songs of Ben & Ben.
As a recording artist, Poppert has released songs including Go With The Flow, Diri, Ambot Lang, Payakap Inay, and Bitiw, a stirring duet with Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez.

SoloPOP also marks Poppert’s return to the Music Museum after two years. The concert is directed by Mikko Angeles, with Gino Cruz as musical director. Guest artists will be announced soon.
Fans and supporters can get tickets from Ticket2Me and expect the very best of Poppert in SoloPOP. It will be a night exploding with his love for pop music and the bold move to soar on his own.
