Demi Lovato has returned with “Here All Night,” a bold, infectious new single that signals a confident leap into dance-pop. Produced by Zhone — known for his work with Kylie Minogue, Troye Sivan, and Kesha — the track fuses Lovato’s powerhouse vocals with pulsing electronic beats, building an anthem made for heartbreak-fueled liberation.
“‘Here All Night’ is a breakup song I wrote by channeling a character, and it was so freeing to step into someone else’s story,” Lovato said of the songwriting process.

To match the song’s energy, Lovato reunited with longtime collaborator Hannah Lux Davis, the director behind her hits “Cool for the Summer” and “Sorry Not Sorry.” The music video finds Lovato pent up in her apartment before letting loose — a visual metaphor for emotional release and reclaiming joy.
“From the moment we finished the song, I knew it needed to be a dance video,” Lovato said. “It’s about dancing through heartbreak. It’s raw and empowering, with a playful, voyeuristic point of view.”
“Here All Night” follows the lead single “Fast,” which debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs Chart. Both songs will appear on Lovato’s upcoming ninth studio album, described by Rolling Stone as “celebratory dance-pop.”
Executive producer Zhone praised Lovato’s evolution in the studio. “It’s been so inspiring working with Demi and experiencing her journey of continued leveling up. She is such a master in the studio,” he said. “This album is about letting inhibitions go, and we had so much fun making this music! It really comes across throughout.”
With “Here All Night,” Lovato continues to reimagine her sound and identity on her own terms — fearless, fun, and fully in control.
