The Samsung Performing Arts Theater proudly marks its third anniversary with a special event that celebrates music and the power of performance. On July 11, 2025, at 7:30 PM, experience This Is Me: An Evening with Keala Settle—a night that promises emotion, inspiration, and unforgettable moments.
Keala Settle, the powerhouse voice behind the hit song “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman, takes center stage for this one-night-only performance. Her moving portrayal of Lettie Lutz in the film brought global attention and acclaim, winning a Golden Globe for Best Original Song and earning an Oscar nomination. Known for her bold voice and emotional depth, Settle has also left her mark on Broadway. She originated the role of Norma Valverde in Hands on a Hardbody in 2013, earning nominations for a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Award. In 2016, she joined the original cast of Waitress as Becky, continuing to impress with her heartfelt performances.

In this third year anniversary of Samsung Performing Arts, Settle will be joined by special guest Arielle Jacobs, known for starring as Jasmine in Broadway’s Aladdin and Cinderella in Theatre Group Asia’s Into the Woods in Manila. Together, they bring a blend of Broadway excellence and a night to remember on stage.
The show is written and directed by Mikko Angeles, with musical direction by Farley Asuncion, ensuring a night of meaningful storytelling and beautiful music.
Since opening in 2022, the Samsung Performing Arts Theater has become a home for artists and audiences alike. It has hosted both local and international productions, championing Filipino talent and enriching the cultural landscape. Every show, every note, and every standing ovation is a testament to the creativity and passion that this theater inspires.
As the theater turns three, this celebration is not just about the past—it’s a look ahead to more extraordinary moments to come.
