The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 51 celebrated Philippine cinema in a star-studded Gabi ng Parangal at Dusit Thani Manila, Makati. With eight official entries this year, the festival highlighted films that stood out in creativity, storytelling, and cultural impact. “Manila’s Finest” led the night with eight awards, including Best Cinematography and Best Production Design, while “Unmarry” secured seven wins, led by Best Director Jeffrey Jeturian and Best Screenplay. The top honor, Best Picture, went to “I’mPerfect“, which also earned Best Ensemble Performance and Best Actress in a Leading Role, Krystel Go.
