Wicked: For Good, the sweeping conclusion to the untold story of the witches of Oz, has released its final trailer ahead of its Philippine premiere on November 19, 2025.
The final chapter returns under the direction of Jon M. Chu and stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda—two friends whose bond once defied the world, but now stands on the edge of ruin.

Now separated by fame, fear, and fate, Elphaba lives in exile, branded as the Wicked Witch of the West. Hidden deep in the Ozian forest, she fights to defend the voiceless and uncover the truth about the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). Glinda, in contrast, shines in Emerald City, adored as the symbol of Goodness and guided by Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh). Yet behind her sparkling image, she carries the weight of a friendship lost.
As Glinda prepares to marry Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey), she tries to reconcile with Elphaba—to fix what fame and fear tore apart. But her efforts fail, and the distance between them deepens, pulling Boq (Ethan Slater), Nessarose (Marissa Bode), and even Fiyero into the aftershocks. When a girl from Kansas drops into Oz, the story takes a turn no one expects.
At its heart, Wicked: For Good is about two women who once saw each other clearly—before the world decided who they should be. As a mob rises against Elphaba, and power hangs in the balance, Glinda and Elphaba must face each other one final time.
No matter how their stories end, their friendship has already rewritten both their lives, proving that simply knowing and caring for someone can change you forever.
Wicked: For Good also features Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, and Sharon D. Clarke. Produced by Universal Pictures, Marc Platt, and David Stone, the film follows the Oscar®-winning Wicked (2024), which earned $750 million worldwide.
The film is based on the stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman, with music by Schwartz and John Powell.
