Supermodels Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls take to the streets of New York City for the Fall/Winter 2025 campaign of Anne Klein—a celebration of friendship, strength, and modern femininity. Their real-life bond brings authenticity to a story that honors women who navigate ambition and purpose with elegance, while uplifting one another along the way.

“For Fall Winter ’25 we wanted to tell a story about women celebrating women as it is deeply connected to the ethos of our brand,” says Jameel Spencer, Chief Marketing Officer, Fashion & Athletic Verticals at WHP Global, which owns the Anne Klein brand. “Partnering with Joan and Candice again, was the perfect opportunity to tell that story authentically, given their real-life affection for one another. Both women exude strength, purpose, style, ambition, and beauty in a way that inspires women from all walks of life.”

Anne Klein Campaign Taps Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls

Captured through the lens of photographer Matt Easton and the eye of director JP Micallef, the campaign unfolds across Manhattan landmarks—Fifth Avenue, the steps of the Met, Bethesda Terrace in Central Park—all styled to effortless effect by Sandy Armeni. The result is a visual narrative that feels both timeless and unapologetically current.

“Being a part of the Anne Klein campaign for the second time is incredibly special to me – and doing it alongside my best friend, Candice, makes it even more meaningful,” shares Smalls.

Swanepoel adds, “Joan made the first move! I’m always friendly but it takes a lot to warm me up to people.” To which Joan replies, “She won my heart when I saw that she could dance.”

The campaign debuts in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, followed by placements in leading fashion titles. The collection showcases versatile staples—tailored separates, statement dresses, essential accessories—designed to reflect the brand’s enduring mission: fashion for women with purpose.

The Fall 2025 collection is available now at AnneKlein.com, as well as in-store and online at Macy’s.
