Rising alt-pop force Alessi Rose pulls back the curtain on her new EP Voyeur, out now via Capitol Records / Universal Music Canada. Across eight tracks, the 22-year-old turns messy, often uncomfortable emotions into sharp-edged, anthemic pop — her most realized work to date.
Among the highlights is new single “Dumb Girl,” a slow-burning ballad of unrequited love. “That’s exactly the kind of off-kilter lyric that I love,” says Rose of the song’s intimate opener. “You hear it and you feel a bit uncomfortable, but to me it’s a direct translation of that feeling of being with someone and knowing they’re just going to go off with someone else as soon as they leave you.”

Fresh off a breakout Glastonbury debut and a UK/EU tour supporting Dua Lipa, Rose graces the cover of NME, who dub her “pop’s most brutally honest newcomer.” She next joins Tate McRae on the U.S. leg of the Miss Possessive Tour, with her own Voyeur Tour and festival slots to follow. Future casting and tour stop announcements are expected soon.
Produced by Sam De Jong, John Hill, Sammy Witte, and Couros, Voyeur dives deep into themes of desire, heartbreak, and self-reflection. “The voyeurism is twofold,” says Rose. “The audience becomes a voyeur of my innermost thoughts… but additionally I am a voyeur of myself and my own sometimes self-sabotaging decisions.”
New cuts like “Take It or Leave It” and “Stella” join buzzed-about singles “Everything Anything,” “Same Mouth,” and “That Could Be Me.”
Touted by Billboard as one of “15 Rising U.K. and Ireland Acts to Watch in 2025,” Rose has earned raves from NME, The Face, Dork, and DIY Magazine, who call her “pop’s hottest new It-girl.” With a fast-growing global fanbase and sold-out shows on both sides of the Atlantic, Rose’s trajectory is only pointing up.
