Apple TV+ has shared a first look at “Pluribus,” the highly anticipated upcoming drama series created by Vince Gilligan, the acclaimed writer and director known for his work on “Breaking Bad,” as well as for co-creating the Emmy-winning series “Better Call Saul.” The new series marks another collaboration between Gilligan and actress Rhea Seehorn, who previously worked together on “Better Call Saul,” for which Seehorn received two Emmy nominations for her standout performance. The nine-episode drama will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with its first two episodes debuting on Friday, November 7, 2025. After the premiere, new episodes will be released weekly on Fridays, with the finale scheduled to stream on December 26, 2025.

“Pluribus,” which has already been renewed for a second season ahead of its premiere, is described as a genre-bending original story in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness. The series stars Rhea Seehorn in the lead role, alongside Karolina Wydra, known for her role in “Sneaky Pete,” and Carlos Manuel Vesga, who appeared in “The Hijacking of Flight 601.” The show will also feature guest appearances from Miriam Shor, who appeared in “American Fiction,” and Samba Schutte, who is known for his work in “Our Flag Means Death.”
The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and includes a lineup of executive producers led by Emmy Award winner Vince Gilligan. Joining Gilligan on the executive production team are WGA Award winner Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski, and Jeff Frost. Jenn Carroll and Trina Siopy serve as co-executive producers on the project.
