Netflix has officially confirmed that production is underway for Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead, the Korean zombie thriller that became a global hit in 2022. Based on the popular webtoon by Joo Dong-geun, the first season captured audiences worldwide, racking up over 560 million viewing hours in just 28 days. It ranked in the Top 10 across more than 90 countries and remains one of Netflix’s most-watched non-English series of all time.
The new season brings back the original survivors of the Hyosan High outbreak — Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon. They are joined by new cast members Lee Min-jae (Weak Hero: Class 2), Kim Si-eun (Squid Game Season 2), Roh Jae-won (Squid Game Seasons 2 & 3), and Yoon Ga-i.

Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu) is now a university student in Seoul, trying to move on from the loss and trauma of Hyosan. But her new life is shattered when “a new wave of infection suddenly hits Seoul,” forcing her into another desperate fight for survival — this time without the friends she once relied on.
Audiences will also see how Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), and Lee Su-hyeok (Lomon) are living years after the outbreak. On-jo builds new friendships with university seniors Yong Ma-ru (Lee Min-jae), So Ju-ran (Kim Si-eun), and Lee Jong-a (Yoon Ga-i), a group that has managed to survive in the post-apocalyptic world. Han Du-seok (Roh Jae-won), a team leader in the National Intelligence Service, adds further tension to the unfolding crisis.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is directed by Lee JQ (Daily Dose of Sunshine) and Kim Nam-su, with the script by returning writer Chun Sung-il (King the Land).
