Morgan Wade has just released the official music video for her latest single, “The Party Is Over.” The track, which dropped last week, arrives ahead of her new album The Party Is Over (recovered), set for release on August 1.
The video is a moody, cinematic take on heartbreak. It paints a vivid picture of what Wade describes as a “relationship hangover”—the emotional aftermath of love that lingers long after things fall apart. The visuals perfectly match the song’s haunting lyrics and powerful tone.

Driven by guitar and raw honesty, “The Party Is Over” sets the stage for what’s to come on the album. Wade sings, “When the lights all dim and the party is over / Baby, I still want you when I’m sober,” capturing the familiar pain of missing someone you can’t quite let go. It’s an anthem for anyone who’s ever tried to move on but found the memories still too loud.
The Party Is Over (recovered) features 11 tracks, blending new songs with unreleased material. Every song was written solo by Wade, staying true to her signature style of intense, emotional storytelling. The track list includes:
- The Party Is Over
- Let Us Down
- East Coast
- Roses
- Left Me Behind
- Candy From Strangers
- Parking Garage
- Songs I Won’t Remember
- High In Your Apartment
- Stay
