Rising global girl group KATSEYE has released their latest single, “Gnarly,” a gritty, high-energy track driven by heavy 808s, rave-inspired synths, and a bold, confident vibe. The song captures the intense emotions of growing up in a digital world and stepping into the spotlight, blending excitement, vulnerability, and overstimulation.

Produced by Pink Slip, Tim Randolph, Slow Rabbit, and HYBE founder “hitman” Bang, “Gnarly” embraces both meanings of the word — wild and cool — while exploring the blurred lines between real life and digital identity. Its official music video, directed by Cody Critcheloe, premiered on MTV and lit up the Paramount Times Square billboards.

The six-member group continues to grow creatively, with “Gnarly” showing a sharper, edgier side of their artistry. KATSEYE — Daniela (Cuban/Venezuelan-American, Atlanta), Lara (Indian, New York), Manon (Ghanaian-Italian, Zurich), Megan (Chinese-American, Honolulu), Sophia (Filipina, Manila), and Yoonchae (Korean, Seoul) — was formed through the HYBE x Geffen Records global “Dream Academy” project, featured in the Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.

Their journey began with the single “Debut,” highlighted by Rolling Stone as a must-hear, followed by “Touch,” which made Billboard’s list of the 100 Best Songs of 2024. Their debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), earned critical acclaim and topped Billboard’s Emerging Artists and Heatseekers Albums charts.

KATSEYE has already performed on Good Morning America, GMA3, and The Kelly Clarkson Show, and delivered a standout set at the MAMA Awards. They’ve also been featured in Cosmopolitan, V Magazine, PAPER, and The Los Angeles Times. In the fashion and brand world, they star in Fendi’s “Fendi For Yourself” campaign and appear in a new Pepsi ad featuring “Debut.”

With ‘Gnarly’, KATSEYE continues to craft a dynamic and striking pop sound, balancing softness with strength, polish with raw energy, and control with edge — always evolving, always bold.
