MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Following the success of the first round of workshops, GMG Productions and Jodie Steele partner up the second season of online classes, the GMG x JSA West End Workshops. 

For this exciting round of workshops, the Philippines’ top international producer, GMG Productions will be collaborating with one of London’s strongest training schools, Jodie Steele Associates (JSA) to bring the best and brightest of the London theatre scene into the living rooms of students across the Philippines.  

At the helm of JSA, is West End superstar, Jodie Steele whose theatre credits include, Heathers, SIX, Rock of Ages, and WICKED where she blew Manila audiences away when she performed as Elphaba in Manila as part of the world tour in 2017.  

“We have always wanted to bring the JSA training programme outside of the UK and we’re so excited to be able to do this in the Philippines”, shares JSA Principal Jodie Steele.  

“We have put together a musical theatre curriculum which will cover dance, singing and acting. Students will be able to get one-on-one feedback from our incredible instructors. It will be a one of a kind opportunity.” 

This season’s moderators will include West End stars Jodie Steele herself, Grace Mouat, Erica Jayne Alden, Ben Sell, Kayleigh McKnight, Charlotte Steen, Liam Doyle and Matthew Stevens.

As in the previous season, GMG continues to partner with the Open House Fundraiser and the Actors Welfare Project Inc. a partition of tuition sales will be going towards the Open House Fundraiser in support of the performing arts community. 

The GMG x JSA: West End Workshops will run from July 12 to August 6, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 5:00 PM. Tuition fee is P12,500 for 4 weeks with sessions of three times a week.
