The iconic voice behind one of Asia’s most recognizable anime theme songs is set to take the stage in Singapore. Show Wesugi, the singer behind ‘Till the End of the World’ from Slam Dunk (世界が終るまでは…), will headline the ‘Till the End of the World’ Show Wesugi Asia Tour 2025 in Singapore on 27 December 2025 at ARENA@EXPO, marking his long-awaited debut in the country. With the Shanghai stop canceled amid heightened China–Japan tensions, Singapore now stands as the sole remaining date of the tour, making this performance a rare and exclusive opportunity for fans.

For many across Asia—and especially Singapore—Slam Dunk was a defining cultural force of the 1990s. When the anime first aired locally, it triggered a viewing frenzy that helped shape the island’s emerging basketball culture. Its themes of determination, teamwork, and personal redemption resonated deeply with a generation. Wesugi’s musical impact extends far beyond anime. As the former lead vocalist and primary songwriter of WANDS, one of Japan’s most influential 1990s rock bands, he helped define the era with his unmistakable voice and emotionally driven lyrics. He debuted with WANDS in 1991 with ‘Loneliness is the Color of Autumn’ (寂しさは秋の色) before leaving in 1996 due to creative differences.
