Pop icon Shakira returns with a brand-new original track, “Zoo,” featured in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming sequel, Zootopia 2. She reprises her role as Gazelle, the beloved pop star of the animal metropolis.

The song is written by Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin, and Shakira, and produced by Slatkin, Alex (A.C.) Castillo, Shakira, and Sheeran. “Zoo” will also be released as a collectible 7” purple vinyl single.
“Zoo” leads the Zootopia 2 soundtrack, which includes a score by Academy Award®-winning composer Michael Giacchino. The full soundtrack launches November 21, just ahead of the film’s November 26 theatrical release.
The track follows the success of 2016’s “Try Everything,” also performed by Shakira, which has been streamed 2.7 billion times worldwide and became a standout musical moment from the original Oscar®-winning film.
In Zootopia 2, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) take on a twisting new case when Gary De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan) arrives in the city, causing chaos. To solve the mystery, they must go undercover in unexpected corners of Zootopia—testing their partnership like never before.
The voice cast also includes Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, Idris Elba, Patrick Warburton, Quinta Brunson, Nate Torrence, and Shakira as Gazelle.
Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, and produced by Yvett Merino, Zootopia 2 opens in theaters November 26.
