Disney and Pixar have unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming animated comedy Hoppers, which is set to arrive in Philippine theaters in March 2026.

The film introduces Mabel, voiced by Piper Curda, an animal lover who gets the chance to communicate with animals in a completely new way. Using advanced technology, Mabel is able to “hop” her consciousness into a lifelike robotic animal. This allows her to experience the animal world from the inside.

Directed by Pixar’s Daniel Chong, Hoppers explores the idea of human communication with animals through a new scientific breakthrough. Scientists in the film have developed a method that allows humans to transfer their consciousness into robotic animals. Through this technology, people can interact with animals not as humans, but as animals themselves.

“In Hoppers, the question we’re answering is: ‘What if we could understand and communicate with the animal world?’” says Chong. “Our main character, Mabel, gets to discover the animal kingdom as an animal, which can be weird and often hilarious. Mabel undercover in the animal world leads to a wild, roller coaster ride of a movie, with all the heart you expect from a classic Pixar film. It’s going to be so much fun to watch in the theater; I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

As Mabel explores this new world, she begins to uncover mysteries within the animal kingdom that go beyond anything she expected.

Produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle, Hoppers also includes voice performances by Bobby Moynihan and Jon Hamm.

The new trailer gives audiences a first look at the world of Hoppers and the exciting journey Mabel will take as she hops into the lives of animals.
