Eight years after its explosive first-season finale, Prime Video and the BBC have unveiled first-look images for Season Two of The Night Manager. The acclaimed spy thriller, which earned more than 30 award nominations and multiple wins — including Emmys, Golden Globes, and BAFTAs — returns with Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as former British intelligence operative Jonathan Pine.

Set in the present day, the new season finds Pine living quietly in London as Alex Goodwin, a low-level MI6 officer running a surveillance unit. His calm existence is upended when he spots a former Roper mercenary, setting off a chain of events that draws him back into the dangerous world he once escaped. His investigation leads to a violent encounter with Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos, played by Diego Calva.

The Night Manager Returns with Tom Hiddleston in New Season

Camila Morrone joins the cast as Roxana Bolaños, a businesswoman who reluctantly helps Pine infiltrate Teddy’s Colombian arms operation. The cast also features Indira Varma as Mayra, Paul Chahidi as Basil, and Hayley Squires as Sally. Returning are Olivia Colman as Angela Burr, Alistair Petrie as Sandy Langbourne, Douglas Hodge as Rex Mayhew, Michael Nardone as Frisky, and Noah Jupe as Daniel Roper.

Season Two is created and executive produced by David Farr, based on John le Carré’s characters. It is produced by The Ink Factory in association with Character 7, Demarest Films, and 127 Wall, and co-produced with Spain’s Nostromo Pictures. BAFTA winner Georgi Banks-Davies (I Hate Suzie, Paper Girls) directs the season in full, marking the first time the story expands beyond le Carré’s original novel.

Executive producers include Stephen Garrett, Simon and Stephen Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff, and Tessa Inkelaar, along with Georgi Banks-Davies, Hugh Laurie, and Tom Hiddleston.

Filmed across the UK, Spain, Colombia, and France, The Night Manager Season Two will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK, and on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
