Kodak Black and Chance the Rapper come together once again for “Still Get Chanel,” a soulful, romantically themed single that highlights both artists’ emotional depth and lyrical range. Released via Vulture Love / Capitol Records, the song is accompanied by a new video. Kodak also announced his upcoming studio album, Just Getting Started, arriving October 31.

Produced by longtime collaborator Dr. Zeus, the track finds Kodak reflecting on lost love with vivid imagery and vulnerability:
“I was all f—– up, I was down as f— / Like the grass stop growin’, the wind stop blowin’ / The birds stop chirpin’ and lightning struck / But you still get Chanel and chocolate and stuff.”

Chance’s verse adds a heartfelt touch, blending athletic wordplay with affection and a Rodeo Drive reference, further enhancing the track’s emotional tone.

This is the duo’s first collaboration since 2017, when they appeared on 2 Chainz’s “I’m Not Crazy, Life Is.” Since then, Chance has released his long-anticipated album STAR LINE, while Kodak continues a prolific run of music and community involvement.

In the summer, Kodak was honored with the key to his hometown, Pompano Beach, Florida, for his ongoing generosity. He celebrated with a locally shot video, “Keys to the City.”

Recently, he dropped the hard-hitting single “Imma Shoot,” drawing favorable comparisons to his 2021 breakout hit “Super Gremlin.” In July, he released “By Myself” with DJ E Money and G6reddot, sampling Fabolous and Ne-Yo’s “Make Me Better.” Ne-Yo appears in the video alongside influencer Big SLM TY.

Kodak ended 2024 with three back-to-back projects: Gift for the Streets, Dieuson Octave, and Trill Bill. Earlier in the year, he launched his label’s first compilation, Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies on Earth.

With more than 25 billion global streams and a strong presence in Florida, Kodak remains both a creative force and community figure—supporting local families with rent aid, summer AC donations, and an annual turkey drive honoring his 1800 block roots.
