Prime Video has confirmed that The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) will conclude with a feature film, closing out the story that began with Jenny Han’s best-selling trilogy. The news was announced during the series finale red carpet celebration in Paris, France.
Han will direct the film and co-write the script with Sarah Kucserka. Plot details have not yet been released.

Since its debut in 2022, TSITP has grown into a global success. Season One became the No. 1 show on Prime Video during its launch weekend. Season Two, released in 2023, more than doubled the viewership of the first within its first three days. The third season drew 25 million global viewers in its first week, making it the platform’s fifth most-watched returning season.
Adapted from Han’s trilogy, the series centers on a love triangle between a teenage girl and two brothers, exploring themes of family, friendship, and coming of age.
Han and Kucserka serve as showrunners and executive producers, alongside Karen Rosenfelt, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen of wiip. The series is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and wiip.
