The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has announced that the official cast recording of its acclaimed musical Walang Aray is now available for streaming on Spotify. The album was produced in collaboration with Soundesign Manila, one of the country’s leading full-service audio production houses.

A contemporary adaptation of Severino Reyes’ classic zarzuela Walang Sugat, Walang Aray was written by Rody Vera and presents a sharp, satirical take on themes of love and resistance. Blending humor, romance, and political commentary, the musical has resonated strongly with audiences. As the flagship production of PETA’s 58th season—centered on the theme Love and Power—this revival offers a more comedic, subversive, and emotionally charged interpretation while maintaining the original’s core spirit.
