The science fiction comedy Upload will conclude with a four-part series finale, premiering August 25 on Prime Video. The episodes will be available in more than 240 countries and territories.
Created by Greg Daniels, an Emmy-winning writer known for The Office, Parks and Recreation, and King of the Hill, the series is set in a technologically advanced future where death is no longer the end. In this world, individuals can opt to be “uploaded” into a virtual afterlife—if they have the means to pay for it. Daily life includes holographic phones, autonomous vehicles, AI assistants, and 3D food printers.

The final episodes find the digital afterlife of Lakeview under threat from a sentient AI that turns hostile. With the possibility of erasure looming over both the virtual and real worlds, the central characters face corporate greed, unresolved mysteries, and emotional challenges. “The only way they can get through it all and save humanity from deletion is by teaming up one last time.”
The cast includes Robbie Amell as Nathan, Andy Allo as Nora, Kevin Bigley as Luke, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy.
Daniels also serves as executive producer, alongside Howard Klein and Maxwell Vivian.
Upload debuted on Prime Video and developed a following for its blend of speculative fiction and satire. The upcoming episodes mark the conclusion of a story that explored mortality, technology, and the boundaries between physical and virtual existence.
The series finale of Upload will stream exclusively on Prime Video beginning August 25.
