Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the series returns with a fresh storyline set in spring 2024—nearly two years after season three’s events. With the merger between UBA and NBN finalized, the newsroom faces bigger stakes as it navigates “newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America.”

In a world shaken by deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate secrets, season four asks: “Who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?”

The returning cast features Aniston, Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm. New additions include Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, and Academy Award winners Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons.

The series is helmed by showrunner and executive producer Charlotte Stoudt, with Mimi Leder returning as director and executive producer. It is produced by Media Res, with executive producers Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer. Witherspoon also executive produces with Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, while Aniston teams up with Kristin Hahn through Echo Films. Zander Lehmann and Micah Schraft also join as executive producers.

Season three of The Morning Show received 16 Emmy nominations, including a second Emmy win for Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison. He also won a Critics Choice Award for the same role. The American Film Institute included the third season in its list of the top 10 TV programs of 2023.

Earlier seasons earned multiple accolades, including an Emmy and Critics Choice Award for Crudup, a SAG Award for Aniston, and Emmy nominations for directing and acting performances across the board.
