Jennifer Lopez is celebrating another trip around the sun — and she’s doing it in style. On July 24, the global superstar marked her 56th birthday with the release of a new single titled “Birthday”, a dance-ready anthem that arrived alongside visuals from her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour.

“Name on top of the cake, it’s my birthday / I’ma make this famous ass shake, it’s my birthday,” she chants in the opening lines of the playful track, which played as part of a backstage celebration during her current tour stop.
In clips reshared to her Instagram Stories, Lopez was seen dancing in a shimmering, backless silver dress as a towering three-tiered cake was wheeled out — complete with sparklers and the letters “J L O” on top. Surrounded by her dancers and musicians, she held a drink in one hand and dropped it low for the cheering crowd, flipping her hair in time with the beat.
The track dropped with a visualizer featuring footage from her tour, where Lopez performs in a silver-sequined bodysuit and matching boots, singing, “every day is my birthday.” The Up All Night tour continues through August 10, with upcoming stops in cities including Abu Dhabi and Istanbul.
“What a gift you all are!” Lopez wrote on Instagram, sharing a mirror selfie and a carousel of birthday moments. “Thank you so much for all your beautiful birthday wishes.”
During her show in Antalya, Turkey, longtime friend Stevie Mackey led the sold-out crowd and her band in a “Happy Birthday” sing-along just after midnight.
“Birthday” marks Lopez’s first solo release of 2025. She’s set to continue her run through Europe before launching her Up All Night residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, starting on New Year’s Eve.
