The three-part series, created by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, Jane Root’s Nutopia, and Hemsworth’s own Wild State, explores how to sharpen our minds and strengthen our bodies through bold, real-life challenges. Filmed over two years in six countries, Hemsworth pushes himself physically and mentally, tackling pain, fear, and cognitive decline.

Without any prior experience, Hemsworth learns to play the drums — eventually performing live with Ed Sheeran in front of 70,000 fans. He also climbs a 600-foot dam in the Swiss Alps to embrace risk and joins South Korean Special Forces training, facing electrocution and pepper spray, in a journey to overcome chronic pain.

“Making this series has been a life-changing journey,” said Hemsworth. “I’ve discovered so much about my own health, resilience and what it really means to live well. I hope this next chapter inspires audiences to step outside their comfort zones and embrace challenges, because the impact it’s had on my life has been truly profound.”

The series features returning expert Dr. BJ Miller and a range of inspiring voices including Dr. Maya Shankar, Ben Gordon, Professor Abigail Marsh, climber Steph Davis, and others. Together, they provide practical insights into building stronger minds, bodies, and connections.

Each episode explores a different theme:

  • “Brain Power” – Hemsworth learns drumming with Parkway Drive’s Ben Gordon and performs with Ed Sheeran, highlighting how learning boosts memory and focus.
  • “Risk” – He climbs a towering dam to explore how controlled risk can improve mental health.
  • “Pain” – In South Korea, he takes on intense Special Forces challenges to confront and reframe chronic pain.

A clip of his drumming performance has already reached nearly 35 million views, proving that the journey to live better resonates around the world.
