Mariah Carey has announced the release of her 16th studio album, Here For It All, scheduled to arrive on September 26. The pop singer revealed the news Monday morning in a brief Instagram video that featured a snippet of the album’s title track.

In the clip, Carey appears in black leather boots and a fitted black catsuit, walking slowly in front of a mural of herself. The words “Here For It All” repeat in bold black and white across the background. The video concludes with Carey singing, “I’m here for it all!” and fades into what appears to be the album’s cover: Carey smiling with her eyes closed, her hair windswept, one arm raised to her face, the other to her chest.

The project will be her first full-length release since Caution in 2018, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. It is also her first album under a new deal with Gamma, the independent music company founded by Larry Jackson.

“It’s a cultural shift, and I’m excited to be part of something that honors legacy while pushing boundaries,” Carey told Forbes of the partnership. “This next chapter is about owning my narrative and creating freely on my own terms.”

In June, Carey released the lead single “Type Dangerous,” co-written by Anderson .Paak, which she debuted at the BET Awards. The track entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 95, becoming her 50th entry on that chart and her first non-seasonal single to chart since 2017. A music video directed by Joseph Kahn accompanied the release and included a cameo by YouTuber Mr. Beast.

An EP featuring collaborations with artists including Method Man, Big Sean and DJ Snake followed. Carey also previewed a second track from the album, titled “Sugar Sweet.”

Speaking to Apple Music last month, Carey said the album was “finished,” though no track list has yet been released.
