Tanghalang Pilipino (TP) has officially launched its 39th season, IGNITE, on July 16 at the Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez. The event featured teaser numbers of what audiences can expect from the upcoming musicals—powerful performances that highlight the lives of Emilio Jacinto, Gregoria de Jesus, and Apolinario Mabini.

PINGKIAN: ISANG MUSIKAL
“Ignite the revolution. Again.”
After a sold-out run and a Best Musical win at the 2024 Aliw Awards, Pingkian returns to the stage. It follows Emilio Jacinto, the “Brains of the Katipunan,” during the final years of the Philippine Revolution and the start of the Philippine-American War.
