Two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning global pop star Sabrina Carpenter opens a new chapter with her latest single “Manchild,” out now via Island Records. She co-wrote the track with frequent collaborator Amy Allen and reunited with producer Jack Antonoff. Both Allen and Antonoff, GRAMMY® winners themselves, previously worked with Sabrina on her chart-topping album Short n’ Sweet.

“Manchild” arrives after a historic year for Sabrina. Her 2024 album Short n’ Sweet became a worldwide sensation, topping charts and breaking records. The album’s opening track “Taste” debuted at #1 on Spotify US, overtaking her own hit “Please Please Please.” With that, Short n’ Sweet became the first album since Taylor Swift’s to notch four Pop Airplay No. 1s. All three major singles—”Espresso” (2.2 billion streams), “Please Please Please” (1.4 billion), and “Taste” (1 billion)—joined Spotify’s Billions Club.

The album earned Sabrina six GRAMMY® nominations in her debut year, taking home two: Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n’ Sweet and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso.” She also performed a medley of “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” at the GRAMMYs. Following the awards, she released Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe), featuring five new tracks, including a duet with Dolly Parton on “Please Please Please” and “Busy Woman,” which she debuted live on her sold-out arena tour.

Sabrina also made UK chart history by becoming the first female artist to hold the top three spots on the UK Singles Chart at the same time with “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” and “Espresso.” She broke the record for the most weeks at #1 by a female artist in a single year with 21 weeks total and became the first international artist to receive the Global Success Award at The BRITs.

This fall, Sabrina returns for the second sold-out North American leg of her Short n’ Sweet Tour, kicking off October 23 in Pittsburgh. The tour includes major arena stops in New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles, with five nights at Madison Square Garden and six nights at Crypto.com Arena, wrapping up November 23. The new dates follow her previous sold-out North American and European tours, with additional shows added due to overwhelming demand.
