Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch,” the live-action reimagining of a heartwarming story of love, family, and friendship, is now showing in cinemas nationwide!

Ohana means family

The reimagination brings the iconic–and oftentimes wildly chaotic– dynamic of Lilo, a young girl struggling to find her place in the world, and Stitch, a fugitive alien who crashed on Earth and became Lilo’s reluctant best friend. With Lilo finding a best friend in Stitch, the adorable blue alien learns the meaning of family: both the ones we’ve been given and the ones we choose. Meanwhile, Nani, Lilo’s older sister, is grappling with the pressures of being both mom and dad to Lilo and holding off the child protective services, all while navigating the struggles of adulthood herself.

With fan favorites Pleakly and Jumba, two representatives from the United Galactic Federation tasked to bring Stitch a.k.a Experiment 626 back to their planet, the movie promises a mischievous and fun ride, and ultimately, a story that’s close to home.
