The full cast has been announced for the upcoming revival of “Evita”, directed by Jamie Lloyd, running at the London Palladium from 14 June to 6 September 2025. The official press night is set for 1 July.
Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story”, “Snow White”) will star as Eva Perón, joined by Diego Andres Rodriguez as Che in his West End debut, and James Olivas as Juan Perón. Aaron Lee Lambert will play Agustín Magaldi, with Bella Brown as The Mistress and Alternate Eva.

The musical follows the extraordinary rise of Eva Duarte, from her humble beginnings to becoming Argentina’s First Lady. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, the show includes iconic numbers such as “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “You Must Love Me,” and “Another Suitcase in Another Hall.” It explores themes of power, ambition, and how legacy is shaped by both admiration and controversy.
Ensemble members include Carl Au, Gabriela Benedetti, Shakara Brown, Damian Buhagiar, Kyeirah D’Marni, Sally Frith, DeAngelo Jones, Lucas Koch, Natasha Leaver, Michael Lin, Dianté Lodge, Louis Mackrodt, Mireia Mambo, Mia Mullarkey, Perry O’Dea, Alysha Sontae, Monica Swayne, Jon Tsouras, and Harrison Wilde.
Swings are Myla Carmen, Barney Hudson, Nathan Louis-Fernand, Kirsty Anne Shaw, Ricardo Spriggs, and Regan Bailey Walker. The role of The Child is shared by Auora Breslin, Lois Haidar, Siena Merilind-Wu, and Ffion Rosalie Williams.
The creative team includes Fabian Aloise (choreography), Soutra Gilmour (set and costume design), Alan Williams (music supervision and direction), Jon Clark (lighting design), and Adam Fisher (sound design). Casting is by Will Burton (UK) and Jim Carnahan (US), with support from a full team of specialists in wigs, makeup, props, fight direction, intimacy coordination, and orchestral management.
“Evita” first premiered as a concept album in 1976 before becoming a global stage phenomenon. It won multiple Tony Awards and was adapted into a 1996 film starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas. The role of Eva Perón has been played by many iconic performers worldwide, including Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, who starred in a celebrated production by Repertory Philippines.
Produced by Michael Harrison for Lloyd Webber Harrison Musicals and Jamie Lloyd for The Jamie Lloyd Company, in association with The Really Useful Group, this bold new staging of “Evita” brings fresh energy to a legendary musical.
With a powerful score, stunning visuals, and a compelling story of ambition and influence, this revival is poised to be a standout event in London’s 2025 theatre season.
