Bituing Maningning: The Brigiding Slaysian Royale Fashion Showcase opens on November 22–23, 2025, in Quezon City, offering an immersive exploration of artistry, identity, and community through fashion and drag. The exhibit centers on Brigiding, the first-ever winner of Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, whose vision and creativity have helped shape the country’s drag landscape.
The two-day showcase traces Brigiding’s journey through her most iconic looks from Slaysian Royale and select ensembles from Drag Race Philippines Season 1. Each piece reveals not only craftsmanship but also the story of transformation—how imagination becomes form, and struggle becomes triumph. The exhibit also includes special creations from fellow Slaysian Royale queens and Drag Race Philippines winners, highlighting the collective spirit that drives Filipino drag.

More than a fashion display, Bituing Maningning serves as an homage to collaboration and the artistry that flourishes within the drag community. “Bituing Maningning is more than my story. It’s our story. It’s a love letter to the people who make drag possible: the collaborators, the creators, and the community, those who keep creating, keep believing, and always remind us to shine,” Brigiding says.
Beyond the stage and spectacle, the showcase also reflects compassion and purpose. In partnership with Angat Buhay, a portion of the proceeds will support ongoing community programs and relief efforts in Cebu, extending the exhibit’s message of empowerment and solidarity.
“Through this showcase, I want people to see that drag is not just a performance. It’s passion, storytelling, and survival. It’s how we turn our truths as queer artists into art and our art into pure radiance,” Brigiding shares.
With its fusion of fashion, identity, and social consciousness, Bituing Maningning stands as a luminous tribute to Filipino creativity—bold, intricate, and deeply human.
Public viewing will be held on November 22 from 5:00 PM to 12:00 MN, and November 23 from 1:00 PM to 12:00 MN, at 36 Broadway Ave., Cor. 9th St., New Manila, Quezon City. Tickets are available at bituingmaningning.veent.net
