Brian Tyler returns to compose the score, with production led by Illumination founder Chris Meledandri and Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto.

Based on the acclaimed 2007 Nintendo game Super Mario Galaxy, the film takes Mario and his friends on an interstellar adventure, expanding the world of the beloved franchise.

Illumination, the studio behind Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets, and Sing, has generated nearly $11 billion at the global box office and maintains an exclusive distribution partnership with Universal Pictures.

Founded in 1889 and headquartered in Kyoto, Nintendo continues to create family-friendly entertainment across franchises including Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon.
