The Emmy-winning drama “Shogun” is back for Season 2, and fans have a lot to be excited about. The latest update on the Shogun Season 2 cast reveals a mix of returning favorites and new talent, promising even more drama and intrigue.

Hiroyuki Sanada, also a producer, said, “As a producer and lead actor of course I have pressure for season two but we have great team work from season one and then we have a lot of great new cast so I can’t wait to start shooting and I can use my pressure as a Strength to create an even better season two.”
Shogun Season 1 made history with 18 Emmy wins, including Sanada as the first Japanese actor to win Best Lead Actor in a Drama and Anna Sawai as the first actress of Asian descent to win Best Lead Actress.
