Charlie Puth is going to be a dad and he’s sharing the big news alongside the release of his new single, Changes, the first track from his upcoming album Whatever’s Clever!, out March 6. In the heartwarming music video, the singer-songwriter appears with his wife, Brooke Puth (née Sansone), for a tender moment where the couple smiles and places their hands on her growing belly, revealing they’re expecting their first child.

Before the release, Charlie hinted on Instagram that Changes would give fans a glimpse into his personal life. “You will soon know why…” he wrote.
Charlie and Brooke began dating in 2022 and tied the knot in September 2024 after two years together. At the time, Charlie shared a heartfelt message to his new wife, writing, “I love you, Brooke… I always have. With you I am my very best… Thank you for making me the happiest man alive. It has always been you.”
The video, directed by Charlotte Rutherford, brings a nostalgic ‘80s vibe with stop-motion visuals and playful claymation. But it’s the real-life cameo by Brooke — and the couple’s big reveal — that steals the spotlight.
In an earlier interview, Charlie opened up about the emotional honesty in his music, saying, “All of what you hear on this album is parallel to my personality… I just want people, at the end of the day, to be harmonious and happy.”
