CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA — Apple Original Series made Emmy history at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, winning a record-breaking 22 awards — Apple’s highest total ever. Leading the night was the hit comedy The Studio, which swept 13 awards and became the most-winning freshman comedy in Emmy history.

In addition to winning Outstanding Comedy Series, The Studio picked up awards for Outstanding Lead Actor (Seth Rogen), Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Directing, and more. Bryan Cranston also earned an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor.

Severance followed with eight wins, making it the most-winning drama of the year. Britt Lower won Outstanding Lead Actress, and Tramell Tillman received Outstanding Supporting Actor. The series also took home honors in Cinematography, Music Composition, Guest Actress (Merritt Wever), and more.

Apple’s spy drama Slow Horses also earned a win for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.

This year’s wins show the growing power of Apple Original Series, which continue to earn praise from critics and viewers alike. Since its launch, Apple’s streaming platform has become a major player in entertainment awards, thanks to strong performances, bold storytelling, and top-tier production.
