Lectra, a global leader in industrial intelligence technology for the fashion, automotive, and furniture industries, has appointed Maximilien Abadie as Deputy CEO, effective July 1, 2025. In this role, he will lead the Group’s SaaS operations, focusing on accelerating their growth.
Abadie joined Lectra in 2012 as Project Manager to the CEO. He later became Strategic Planning Analyst in 2013 and Strategy Director in 2016. Since January 2019, he has been a member of the Executive Committee and has held the roles of Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer since August 2022.

Working closely with the Chairman and CEO and the Executive Committee, Abadie is responsible for shaping and executing Lectra’s corporate strategy. He oversees external growth initiatives and leads product development from design to post-launch performance.
He has driven several key projects, including the acquisitions of TextileGenesis and Launchmetrics, both of which significantly advanced Lectra’s SaaS transformation. Since 2018, the company has made nine acquisitions—including its largest competitor, Gerber Technology—and formed two strategic partnerships, expanding its market reach and capabilities.
Technological milestones under Abadie’s leadership include the launch of Valia Furniture and Valia Fashion in 2024, marking a major step forward in automated cutting solutions.
Daniel Harari, Chairman and CEO of Lectra, said:
“Maximilien has played a key role in the success of the Lectra 4.0 strategy initiated in 2017. He has enabled the Group to grow and take on a new dimension. Now that the time has come to prepare our next strategic roadmap for the period 2026-2028, I am very pleased to announce Maximilien’s appointment as Deputy CEO.”
He added:
“His main mission will be to continue accelerating the deployment of our SaaS offerings. I have no doubt that he will be able to take Lectra to a new stage in the expansion of these offers, which we have already seen have a very positive impact on our business model, as well as on the satisfaction, loyalty and increased number of customers who trust us to help them grow.”
Abadie holds a master’s degree in finance from Bocconi University, a bachelor’s degree in management from Paris-Dauphine University, and a bachelor’s degree in econometrics from Paris-Assas University.
