Prime Video has released a brand-new UK Original film, Deep Cover, now streaming globally as of June 12, 2025.
The British action comedy brings together an all-star cast including Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean), Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings), Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), Ian McShane (John Wick, Deadwood), Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon), and Sonoya Mizuno (Maniac, House of the Dragon).
Set in London, Deep Cover follows three improv actors hired by the police to help stage minor sting operations. But their commitment to staying in character—and their improv mantra of “always say yes”—lands them far deeper in the criminal underworld than anyone expected.
The film is based on an original script by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World), in collaboration with UK comedy duo Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen. Trevorrow also serves as producer through his Metronome Film Co., alongside veteran producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald (Men in Black, Galaxy Quest). Annys Hamilton is co-producer. The film is directed by BAFTA-nominated Tom Kingsley (Stath Lets Flats).
“We’re delighted to be bringing this new action comedy to our customers,” said Tushar Jindal, Head of Content, UK at Prime Video. “With an incredible cast, a top-class creative team, and a fantastic script, we know it’s going to be a hit.”
Deep Cover is available to stream now in more than 240 countries and territories as part of the Prime Video subscription.
